Pink Owl

She had just had her 4 month check up and was able to move on to baby food. I am usually not one to follow "rules" but I wanted to wait until we got the ok. She was building quite the appetite and was ready for something else.

Flower Child

Barefoot always, like her momma.

CUPCAKES!

I suprised her while changing her diaper. I loved this onesie so much since the day I bought it while I was still pregnant. I was so happy to finally put her in it but stained it immediately with her iron supplement.

Got the Sock!

After her 3 month mark, baby tried to accomplish something new everyday. This day she was able to pull her sock off as if she had been wanting to do that since the day she was born. On a normal day we would put at least 3 or 4 pairs on her because she would yank them off and somehow lose the other one. She still rips hers socks off if she doesn't have shoes on to stop her. But by now she can take her shoes off, so that is a whole other issue.

Sitting Pretty

Heads Up

Oh how I love her.

More Smiles Please!

Finally! A smile I was able to capture

Bonjour Bebe

As the baby grew and became really active with rolling around and barely sitting still, most of her daily clothing became more about comfort and functionality than anything else. Have you ever tried to crawl in a dress?

April 2011

A year ago, when my husband suggested an iPad 2 for my first, actual Mother's Day present, I didn't quite get the point. I've never been the tech type and I actually hate anything to do with computers. Clearly I had no idea how far advanced technology had become. He told me it would be a good tool for managing the literal hundreds of pics I had taken of the baby. I've never been professionally in photography and I even dropped the course twice in high school when I didn't even bother to try to come up with a nice camera. Back to the iPad...I do enjoy the normal, point and click fun of taking pictures. So of course he had me sold and sure enough, I was hooked. Tons of apps, easy access to fun and small for me to handle around baby. I was editing photos left and right. Totally geeking out basically.

But all good things must come to an end. Not really, no, but as my infant started to change more into being an active baby, I had less time for such things. I began to try to take better pics with better backgrounds and was more conscious of random photo bombs, such as a messy room, so I wouldn't have to edit so much. The the photos became more natural and lively.

Fast forward to now and here we are a year later. My baby is growing more than ever and I still take hundreds of photos of her. Since she is more independent now and since I have gotten more photo accessories for my iPad, I have gotten back into managing her photos. Of course I take the milestone pictures and the every day special moment pictures, but the pics I really love taking are of her daily outfits. I have always been into clothes myself and I have had so much fun shopping for and dressing my little one. My 2 sisters live in California and I always try to send them their daily text message pic package. My sister Kate's friends are always asking to see her niece's outfits.

Which brings us to today. I recently started this blog to chronicle Presley's daily fashions. Mainly for my own entertainment. Yes I find it fun, after all I'm an old married lady now. So most likely the dates are off but I will be caught up by the time you may read this. I've just had to back track through the past year to make up for lost time...

Blue Butterfly

Yes, that does in fact say Ed Hardy. We saw it at Macy's on sale for practically nothing so we had to get it. I wouldn't wear it myself but she's a baby. Who cares?  #jerseyshore

Rollover!

She rolled over for the first time in this pic. She had tried so hard to roll back but couldn't and became upset right after. She had activity and tummy time on her play mat daily and was content to not roll over for the longest time. She then decided it was time. Typical Pea.

Green Day

Ready for Spring

Little Feet

Do I even need to say anything about these???

 Oh...

"Are you in there litte fetus?
In nine months will you come greet us?
I will buy you some Adidas."

Some 90's trivia for ya..

Blue Bunny

She was basically sitting up on her own at this point and I loved sitting her up neatly for her daily pics. Much easier to prop her up instead of laying her down while she wiggled.

Green Gum Drop

This pic is from her little butterball phase. She has a naturally long and slender frame, but during this time she was growing out instead of up. I loved every minute of it.
