Lately + Mid March Camera Roll
The month of March was bonkers busy. The first week we got to go to SF to meet our new family baby, my niece Amélie (see previous posts). Our trip was booked super late minute at a HUGE steal and it just so happened to be a weekend Husby was not on call. He had to go back before us but I got to stay and spend time with my sister and the baby which was a really special treat. I miss them a lot now. We trying to figure something out to live a seemingly bi coastal life but we don't know the future yet so we'll see.
Pea and I got home on a Thursday night along with my other sister and her husband from SF. Then, two days later, on Saturday, we had family visit from KC and stay with us at our place. It was a packed house and Pres got to meet a cousin of hers for the first time. Nadija is 3 and is exactly 1 year and 3 days older than Pea so they are both princesses of their houses with similar traits. Chaos ensued but she had a lot of fun with a temporary full time playmate.
So after a week of travel and then constant activity when we got home, my sweet baby caught a cold. I know her immune system was a little down because of the travel but someone, not naming names ;( had a cold, or worse, and it was passed to Pres almost immediately. She went to her Dr. and she had a sinus infection. Gross. She was prescribed antibiotics and is back to her own self. It's very difficult for me to see her little runny nose and to hear her sounding so congested. When I call the Dr to set up a time to get her checked out, they never seem to worried and they didn't feel the need to rush her appointment because her symptoms weren't severe and not considered an emergency. Umm, it is to me. I'm a spaz about her getting sick and it stresses me out when I can't help her and frustrating when I'm constantly de-germafying (sp?) everything. She didn't get sick once as a baby but as soon as she hit 1 year and toddlerhood, she became a little germ magnet. Still cute though.
Needles to say she wasn't really into dressing up with a camera in her face. We're playing catch up and the weather has gotten a little chilly again. I swear we brought KC weather with us to Texas. Then I caught her cold for a couple of days. Motherhood.
