This trip was actually from day 7 but I forgot to make it's own posting after the appropriate time slot. So I made it kind of out of order. Better late than never though because Haight is one of my favorite places in SF, if not my absolute favorite place. Yes, dirty and kind of sad, but being a lover of old fashion and classic rock music, it reminds me of a time in history when everyone just wanted to love eachother and be happy for one another. Where there was hope that this country and those who inhabit the world, would come together for peace and the better good of the future. Even during a war that seemed to never end but eventually did, there was such hope the future generations would grow up in a place without hate and the fighting would end. Instead, over 30 years later, we are no closer to world peace. If anything we are even further from it.
