I have so much to post and load up but I have been procrastinating and missing my family that went back to their parts of North America. My sister just left this past Monday with my niece so Pea and I have been sulking around and haven't done too much. Plus we were at my moms almost the entire 2 week on a vacay ourselves so we have been back home in reality, cleaning, laundry etc.
When there are things in my life that I do not have the power to change, I start to get fidgety with myself and surroundings. Usually I color or chop off my hair but I quite like the shade and length it is at (finally!!!!) so I have learned to put the shears down, walk away and I will not be doing that anytime soon. So I thought back to what I would do as a kid when I got restless. I would move furniture. When I would get grounded or couldn't do or buy something I wanted or jet off to the moon like I wanted, I would change my surroundings in my bedroom.
Well now that I am big girl with a family and an entire home, there is so much more space to adjust, which keeps me distracted enough to not think. So that is just what we have been doing. Then like me, never satisfied with small changes I had to go bigger. So we then listed half of our furniture on Craigslist and got such great response, we parted with so many pieces. Texas has a great turn around for items on CL. My husby and and I restore pieces of junk furniture we find or that are given away for free and flip them on CL but haven't done much of it since we haven't had the space or room but I think we will be doing more of that in the future.
I will be running this blog on a specific schedule instead of whenever I have free hands. There will be different categories and daily updates. The whole reason I started this blog was not only for out of state family to see her grow, but it was intended for her to be the face of the business I am starting and have been neglecting putting off for a long time. More on that later.
