Girly Stripes

Wild an unruly hair. We ran out of "ponies" and I keep forgetting to get more. I have to try and keep her headband on to keep her hair back because it is all sorts of crazy but I refuse to cut it yet!

I like that this pic shows the purple in her tights. I kind of  wondered to myself what I put her in this day.

Love Day Cards

Last minute photo session and Love Day cards. I really love how they turned out.

Color Pattern

Is it Spring Yet?

Ready from warm weather and bright colors. I like dark colors as well, but I feel like sometimes we get so wrapped up in dressing our little ones in mini me outfits and palettes that we forget how much darkness a deep color like black can portray and the energy it brings. In due time, she's still a baby and I love how cheerful colors look on her. I am ready for the simplicity of a dress in the spring for her and myself. Tights are usually a staple for me in winter and she is so exception. The weather has been dreary so I thought neon tights would brighten it up a bit.

Mix of Neutrals

Cream, tan, brown, gold, black, knit, faux leather, suede, chevron... all here! I want this outfit to be mine! It is my scarf but it's not bulky enough so it is a perfect size for her tiny frame.

Not her birthday but she wanted the balloon when we went to Party City on her date with her daddy . She can get anything from him.

Puzzle, Chalk and Wii

Adding to her list of favorite things are puzzles and chalk. She wants to do puzzles all day long and I have to hide her chalk because she wants to use them inside. A she does on so may of her pics as a way to protest a picture, she has to hold something in them. But I don't care.

Running Wild

She did NOT want to take her picture. She's showing her mouth with cookies in her teeth and kept ripping her head wrap off. Aye this child.

S U N D A Y Funday

This park is intended for 7 years and up. There is a smaller one for toddlers but she doesn't even bother with it. She likes the big one and testing herself. Of course we're there as her spotters but she insists on going about it all on her own. Already too big for her britches. I want her to stop growing.

The aftermath. The temperature got up to 80 and she was in a wild mood while we were grilling, so I just let her run free...with her high-tops. This part of Texas has scorpions and rattle snakes so I like to keep her feet and ankles covered when she's outside playing. Scary, I know, but she's a renegade.
