Strawberry Fedora
She has always been so brave. Without any hesitation, a week or so after cruising on her own, she got the idea to take steps. She would use her walker while I woud do laundry or get her meals ready, to keep her kind of contained because she didn't like her bouncers and would try to wonder off and crawl away. The walker taught her to put one foot in front of the other and ignited a new hobby for her to master. I was laughing at how cute I thought her little body was standing up her own like a big girl, but she would still reach out for mommy to help.
His Girl
There's nothing like a little girl and her daddy. Throw a couple of pups in and it made for heart melting, tear inducing pictures for me to capture. Swoon. The baby loves her daddy, dogs and flowers. She was wanting Rocky to smell the flowers like she did and kept putting it up to his nose. I love sitting outside, listeing to the wind and birds. When I was pregnant, I day dreamed about this day and it came true. It was cool to feel like one with nature and to see how small, we as humans, are in comparison to this great earth. Seeing the baby against the giant trees was a sight. Be still my heart...
First Summer Swim
Like a fish to water. I am so proud to say she never cried once about the pool, or even a bath for that matter. She loves water and loves the pool. I know that sounds crazy to say a baby loves something when they can't express it verbally, but she really did. She was so curious about her raft and the kids jumping in on the other side. She actually liked being out of her raft more so she could she see her feet kicking and splashing. I love her carefree and easy going spirit.
