My little lady.
These were taken in Texas before we left for California. I intended on sending them out to relatives + posting them on her actual birthday but we were officially on vacation after operation move so not much was done. I still have some pics of our last week in SF. With travel all through November + the holidays in December, I am still stuck in 2013. Fashionably late I guess. Whatever. Winter has been here + there. I'm already thinking about the spring.
At the time, her favorite color was yellow so I made her a gold crown that morning. Now she's in her blue period like Picasso.
We didn't have a set a plan for her birthday, sorry, I'm not that kind of thinker. Which I felt kinda bad about. I had a couple of ideas but it's kind of really hard to plan an out of town birthday with a lot going on, for me anyway. We wanted to make it special none the less. Her daddy + uncle went for coffee for us that morning + came back with birthday balloons + animal figurines for Pres. Balloons + toys are her language. After some discussion we decided to go to the zoo. It would be Presley's first trip to the Zoo, ever + in such a special place like San Francisco. I felt better about doing something for her to remember on her birthday, even if it wasn't a party with decorations. I liked it.
