She is always changing her mind like her mama + she is stubborn like her daddy. I don't like to use labels but I am just trying to give you an idea of who she is on the daily. I want her to always be the caring sweet baby she is today. I know she will grow up but I hope that shiny spirit will be hers forever.
Presley Dylan is my feisty 3 year old baby joy. She changes so much, every day, into the person she will be one day. I want her to continue to explore who she is + find what she loves. I never want her to be limited to one thing or another but to have the ability to choose whatever, whenever she wants to do, within reason ;)
She was born in Kansas City, where her daddy + I are from. We now live + love in South Texas, exploring our new city, making a living + raising Pea to be a little lady, even though she mostly has tomboy tendencies. She loves wearing a dress (princess attire to her) but will dig in the dirt while wearing it + probably wipe her muddy hands on it too. She loves purses but mostly for her dinosaurs' safe keeping.
Husby + I have always shared the enjoyment of our own personal styles. This is something that has been passed down + is second nature to our baby. Since her birth, I have always loved dressing her. She is after all an extension of me so it is only natural for her to dressed as well, if not better than me. When she was born, she barely had any hair on her little head. We were already in late fall so I always tried to keep her fuzzy head warm with beanies, which quickly became a signature look for her. She has worn them from literally, minute one of her life + has never bothered to take them off. In the summer time the beanies turned into bows + she has never batted an eye at them. Even now, with the biggest opinion out of anyone, she still likes the glitz of being a girl + accessorizing. As she has grown, we noticed her appreciation for shoes + all things sparkly. Her appreciation has grown + she truly loves getting dressed up for a day of errands or activities, even when she is just at home in her comfys.
I initially started this as a way to document an ever changing baby turned mini human but it became a fun way to show her style + hopefully give some inspiration to people dressing their tot as well. Since moving, this is a also a way for family members to see her growth.
I try to be very particular with what information I share on here + hope it doesn't come off as annoyingly vague. I give an idea of what we do but I like to keep the details quiet. I feel sometimes when everything is documented there is too much room for interoperation. I know, I know, personal information is just way more selacious but since this is solely for my babe, I have to keep a little space. There is a certain magic I feel is ruined when everyone knows about our life. Which is why sometimes my posts are sporadic. I like to reflect later + live in the moment with my baby.
