Presley in the Sky with Diamonds
The baby's first plane ride to SF went so well! We were really nervous for the 4 hour flight, but she did great. She was able to pass out almost immediately after take off. I'm sure it helped with her ears popping beacuse she didn't use a pacifier. She woke up at hour 3 and I thought we were due for a meltdown because she wanted to get up to play with daddy. So we somehow distracted her with switching her between our laps and she got over it. She did however hit a lady's head with her toy though..
Growing Baby
As I look back at the posts after her 3 month mark, I noticed most posts became more about her baby milestones instead of her clothes. The first month's pictures were edited to give more pizazz to the pictures of her just laying or sitting down. In other words, some pics were kind of boring so I guess I wanted to liven them up a bit and make them more fun.
As she started to function more like a baby instead of an infant, pics became more and more difficult to take. My digital camera took ok pics, but of course I usually forgot about it. I always had my EVO cell camera, but it had the most annoying delay. I usually wound up with blurry pics because SHE NEVER STOPPED MOVING! and still hasn't stopped to this day. Plus, by the time she was on to baby food, she always managed to get food somewhere on her clothes.
Which brings me to my point...Once she became more active, our days were more about interactive play and learning time, instead of me behind the camera. Photos I took (when I was actually able to get a good one) were live action shots of her going about her day. This lead to less editing and more natural photos. Sort of like in those movies when a cartoon becomes a real person....
