It's a Birthday Party

"We're going to a party.
It's a birthday party. It's your birthday party.
Happy birthday darling. We love you very, very, very, very, very, very, very much."

I couldn't stop thinking about how I would have never imagined many years ago that I would be married and have a little baby girl turning 2. I remember being in my car singing, almost screaming, this song. Now I was singing it my baby as she fell asleep. Everything happens the way it is supposed to and it became our destiny to create this little person. We are very lucky to be her mommy and daddy.
I love you Presley Dylan.

SF Day 5

We decided to celebrate her birthday a day earlier because both of her uncles would be working on her actual birthday. We started the day at the Farmer's Market in SF. I figured she would love it because fruit and veggies are her favorite snacks. No joke, she would prefer healthy food over junk food any day. She saw my point but wasn't exactly jazzed about it.

After lunch and a much needed skipped nap for the baby, we crossed our fingers for the best and went to Golden Gate Park for baby to ride the carousel and for play time at the park. Incredible. I wish I would have gotten a pic of the entire carousel but there was always a kid picking his nose or a baby crying in front of it so I skipped it. I guess hand carved carousels are pretty rare in this millenium so I thought it was pretty cool for her to ride one for her bday. Her daddy is more paranoid than I am about her getting hurt so you can see he is super close by to "protect" her at all times. Interesting story. We met a clown that robbed Steve Jobs's house, really... no joke, and the Pine Sol lady. Pretty eventful place. I love SF. There is always something interesting going on somewhere.
