This is her first attempt at eating mash potatoes. It was so cute to see her trying something new and tasty. At 8 months she never went back to baby purees. I basically started giving her everything we were eating, within reason. If the food wasn't already a soft texture, I smooshed it with a fork until it was easy for consumption. Plus, she had a set of 8 teeth by this time and was more than ready for REAL food.
