Incredibly Loved

Seeing this little baby face does crazy things to my heart. I love her like she is my own. Presley calls her a sister + I hope one day they will be as close as sisters. I wish we could show her just how much we love her but I never feel like I'v done enough. I hope being a constant face that she sees + trying to have a friendship with her shows that we care. It makes me so sad when she tries to give us a kiss, a pucker with sounds + all. Or when she tries to share her snacks through the phone. We pretend but it will never be the same as being in her presence + feeling those hugs + kisses. She is so incredibly sweet + funny to watch, at the age where everything is done out of pure curiosity. When I saw her in person last, she was a tiny baby, crawling + tumbling. Still tiny, she now has the large motor skills of a toddler, running + walking with a voice baby talking + mimicking every word her mama says.
I'm really trying to embrace the positive side here but not being around your niece + sisters sucks. My sisters have lived away for a while but now that I have a family of my own, their absence is felt more because Presley loves her family beyond anyone's capacity. I can't even begin to describe how much she loves the people in her life. Her heart grows flowers everyday for the people she loves, especially this baby girl, Amélie.
This is one of my favorite pics of Amé. She looks so happy + like she's really going at her outside time. Her arms are back + she's ready to go.
That face!

More Spring Sum Up

We had these confetti eggs from easter that I had forgotten about so we let her smash them. Same thing with the pics, totally forgot I took them. Love her little legs so much.
Cookies at the mall.

First movie date. We've waited to take her to the movies because she gets bored easily + I thought she would tire of sitting during the movie. She absolutely loves stories + movies so we thought we would give it a try it. She loves anything + everything about animals so we picked Rio 2 over Bears because we thought the animation would keep her interested. I don't really like for her to have junk food (cookies excluded ;) but her daddy insists on popcorn every time we see a movie+ since this was her first cinema, he had to give her the option of what candy she wanted. Of course she obliged + picked Twizzlers + gummy bears.
She sat in amazement, staring at the screen + enjoyed her treats while she watched the entire movie -minus a potty break. We lucked out because I thought the candy was going to make her go bonkers but she did great. Needless to say her love for movies has really been taken to whole new level. After the movie, we played little arcade games by the concession. Cory is ridiculously good at claw machine games so he got her some smurfs + a blue monster.
We have way too much to live up to now.

Spring Sum Up

It seems I only snap pics on my phone these days. A hand held camera isn't always the easiest to handle when I have my hands full of the strawberries she doesn't want.
The tiniest farmer's market under overcast skies.
Coffee for me, a cookie for her + the park to burn off that energy.
Home Depot kids workshop. Work boots, dark denim + light denim shirt. Love any chance for contrasting denim + denim.
Chilly morning before tumbling.
Sweet little candy shop.
Crazy pants day, duh.
Baby burrito at Freebirds.
Parks, all day, every day.
Her happy place as of late.
Color combos.
Fields of Blue Bonnet.
Sanpped some on my camera.
