SF Day Six

First
She normally hates swinging, she likes to be the one in control, but she couldn't get enough that day. Especially the big kid swing at the second park we went to.

Have I mentioned how much I love the parks in SF? Well the parks in Marin and Sausalito are just as good if not better. We stayed out of the city for her birthday. Traveling and living out of a suitcase with a toddler is exhausting, well worth it but a pain. I don't know how there are some parents with 5 kids that choose to live on the road all across America and are "travelers." It's utter chaos. One of my sisters lives in the city and the other lives over the Golden Gate, away from the city. I was not organized and didn't plan outfits for certain days because the weather is bi-polar, so I was basically winging it because half of our things were across the bay when at each sisters' houses. I am just not a planner. I tried planning outfits for bebe and me and I just couldn't do it. I tend to dress for whatever mood I am in and I usually don't like to dress her and I have similar outfits, seems weird and I am not one of those moms. (I usually fall into the not one of those moms category often) During this point in our trip I pretty much put on whatever was clean and in our hands.

Still, clothes don't matter to baby and she had a great birthday. Very quiet and relaxing, the exact opposite of her 1st birthday, which was a big party with too much commotion. Grateful for it but I don't like all the stress and anxiety of planning a party. I would much rather spend that time and energy with her.
