We're back from about 3 weeks of travel + we are dang sleepy. We visited family + though we were comfortable, there's no place like home. It will be good to be home for the holidays + not mess with traveling like we had originally planned. We got home yesterday but I didn't feel like unpacking, washing, editing, uploading, posting and everything else in between so my usual procrastination has set in right on schedule. Thanksgiving is this Thursday + I hope I can stay awake to slap some makeup on my face + finish up fall posts before the end of November.
I bought these corduroy kitten ears in October when I thought she might want to be a kitten for Halloween. She didn't but she loves cats so much they're good for anytime in the fall because they're brown spots not black like I thought they were. She won't be growing out of them anytime soon + she'll be able to use them plenty next year. Her daddy calls her top her pilgrim shirt. What better week to put her in it than Turkey week. Plus the skirt won't fit Ms. Mama Long Legs much longer. After I washed the skirt the brown color bled + the white trim is now an odd hue of purple. Fail. I bought them both last year + since I have my own made up, wonky math equations to figure out if the value of an item was worth it, both items equated to a yes. Now I wish I would've put boots on with it but when I took these pics, it was still too warm for brown combat boots. I think I figured once winter comes she'll only wear boots because she's a texas girl now + well have to shelve the cream high tops until warmer weather in the spring. Lets just hope they'll still fit her by then.
