We usually try to have a date night with Pea on the weekends when the mister isn't on call for that week. We will go out for dinner + rent a movie to watch while we eat chocolates. This past weekend we didn't have an early list of things to get done so we went for a lunch date + went shopping before getting the normal Saturday errands done. As I said in my last post, the weather was what fall dreams are made of. I have her fall clothes waiting to come out + I'm so happy her boots still fit her this year! Even if they don't by winter, I am happy she got to stretch them out a full year because I bought them last year around this time. If you're in the stage of a growing baby + having to get everything new for every season, it gets better. Since I bought some things bigger, she has had a lot of clothes that still fit her from the past two years. Some dresses are shorter + leggings look better than tights but hey, it works for me.
Now that it is cooling down just a bit, I am ready to do new things with her that we have put off because it has been so hot. A few picnics + afternoons at the market here + there. Her birthday will be here very soon + since we will be home + not in San Francisco like we have been for her second + third birthdays, we're planning on having an over the top day just for her. It will be very strange to be here + not with my sisters + brother in laws but it will be nice for her to wake up in her own bed on her birthday, even though were going to miss the Pacific Ocean just a bit.
