We had family in for the fourth + tried to celebrate as much as possible with a baby. Since this part of Texas is all about things that go boom, we like to blow off some fireworks around here. Not so easy when bedtime is usually before it gets dark enough for the pretty ones that light up the sky or when an infant is sleeping inside with no monitor + you want to be outside to watch them + play with some sparklers too. Wylie doesn't startle easily but it was obviously too loud for a baby because it seriously looks + sounds like a war is being fought on the streets with smoke everywhere + super loud BOOMS all around. Super rowdy but perfect for my girl on a Saturday night.
