This summer was by far the sweetest. Since birth, everything fascinates her, like all babies of course, but her language is now advanced and she is able to ask questions about our adventures. Her knowledge of colors and learning new things evryday further enhances the way she views her surroundings. She now has distinct memories and understands what summer stands for.
Sparkling sunshine fading into rich colors in the sky. Watermelon on the patio. Jumping into a cold pool on a swelteringly hot day. Ice cream treats in abundance. Blowing bubbles barefoot.
I hope these small and simple things always bring her happiness. I know that's a high hope knowing that growing up isn't easy and an even bigger task given the circumstances in the world but I want her to live as blissfully as possible. I don't want her to be naive and I don't want her to be sheltered. I want her to have the knowledge that not everyone in the world is as fortunate as her and for her to appreciate living the life she has with the desire to help others. I want her to have that bright outlook she has now as a baby person. Ill do everything I can to keep her positive with the ability to be happy in all circumstances.

He is way too good at these drop claws and her hero.

Where do I begin with above pic?

The girl is obsessed with dinosaurs right now.
A local museum had a small exhibit that was perfect for her.
We got photobombed bad in this picture otherwise it would have been perfect.
There were people everywhere.
These guys were HUGE. Imagine that thing chasing you.
She would not turn her back to them for a picture. Too realistic for her.
She was expecting the Land Before Time dinos I guess.
The other side of the museum had a natural exibit for the animals andigonous to this part of TX in the last couple hundred years.
Sweetest girl picking flowers for Mama.
Our villa ;)
The most gorgeous scenery in the middle of downtown, in the almost desert. So picturesque. I miss seeing this much greenery everyday like in KC. Our new favorite spot in Texas.
This is by far my favorite pic of my baby and I. Looks like we fit in no?
Her souvenir.
No idea what process she uses to pick out animals for the day. Always random.
